The training programme aims to enhance the participants’ knowledge and ability to identify and solve problems in IPM and aspects related to sustainable agriculture and food safety. The programme specifically addresses the following aspects:
The roles of stakeholders in supporting the implementation of GAP, sustainable agriculture and IPM.
Achieving IPM policies and institutional innovations by using multi-stakeholder processes (MSP).
Participation levels in IPM policies and implementation.
Food chains and the role of primary production in achieving food safety.
The use of pesticides in IPM to support food safety and environmental protection.
Public and private food safety grading and certification.
The four week trainingprogramme consists of two individual courses:
1. IPM policy and institutional innovations
2. Pesticides and food safety in IPM
Fee: for a single course is € 1850. A combination of two courses costs € 3500.
