The seminar aims to broaden the contextual framework in which better food safety systems can be formulated by examining the institutional impact of international trade on food safety systems. It would indeed be interesting to consider whether more can be done to balance the interests of all the stakeholders involved and appraise the modalities of international cooperation to deal with effectively in securing safe and quality food.
