Scientific objective: To introduce recent research results in the field of future water availability, infrastructure use and adaptive water management in the Amu Darya Basin (Central Asia).
Expected speakers will be from Central Asian and European research institutes. This symposium should also facilitate the coming together of WUR researchers active and/or interested in this region and to stimulate more interaction between the different WUR groups.
