Managing and learning for impact
It is recognised that more flexible, adaptive and process orientated approaches are required in participatory planning, monitoring and evaluation. This course focuses on how to design and institutionalize participatory planning and M&E systems in projects, programmes and organisations or networks for continuous learning and enhancing performance. Particular attention is paid to the relationship between management information needs and responsibilities and the planning and M&E functions.
The three-week course will consist of the following components:
(i) Introducing the Basics of Participatory Planning and M&E
(ii) Identifying what should happen
(iii) Participatory M&E Processes
(iv) Institutionalising participatory Processes and Learning.
