Enkhuizen, The Netherlands
The Municipality of Enkhuizen and the Province of Northern Holland, together with COST and EUREKA have decided to organise a second Aquaculture event on 20 - 22 April 2008 focusing on "Business meets Science".
Main issue will be in establishing international collaborative projects to be triggered by pilot projects set up under the EUREKA Umbrella "Innofisk". Projects will be defined in three areas: Specific novel fish species, Sustainability and installations, and Feed and Health, all recommended by the COST preparatory Committee on Aquaculture. This event will be open by Berga Verburg, the Dutch Minister for Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality.
