Nutrition and older people is currently a hot item. How can you keep up-to-date? How can new insight be used to make real improvements in healthcare? How can you involve all the relevant parties?
Why?
Knowledge about healthy nutrition and good food & drink must be allowed to reach the right people in the right way if it is to result in real improvements in the practical situation.
For whom?
The workshop is aimed at people from the healthcare sector, science, government organisations and the business world. There are only a limited number of places. You can register via goudvoorzilver@wur.nl
What are we going to do?
- Workshop: during the Gold for Silver workshop, we will be exploring the best ways of organising and facilitating cooperation, knowledge-sharing and networking.
Programme (in Dutch)
‐ Platform: a platform will be set up as a means of sharing and distributing knowledge about nutrition, food, eating/drinking and connecting networks across the sectors. Regular meetings will be organised so that members can meet up, inform and inspire each other. A website will also be created as an accessible vehicle for gathering and sharing information and knowledge.
Parties involved
Various organisations are supporting this initiative: Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture & Innovation (formerly Agriculture, Nature & Food Quality), Ministry of Health, Welfare & Sport, LOC Zeggenschap in Zorg, IVM (Institute for Responsible Medication), Maastricht University and Wageningen UR.
