Stichting Wereldvoedselvraagstuk’ invites you cordially for the expert meeting ‘Local action for food security’, which will take place in Wageningen on 12 September. Experts from business, civil society, science and government will explore what actions should be taken at a local level to improve food security. Aim of the meeting is to formulate recommendations how to stimulate local entrepreneurship and to improve local food security. What can be the role of the Netherlands and of different stakeholders? Conclusions of this day will be presented during the political forum on World Food Day, 16 October.
This is the first of three expert meetings that ‘Stichting Wereldvoedselvraagstuk’ organises as part of the celebrations for World Food Day. Bram Huijsman, director of Wageningen International, will be the chairman.
