Unit: Forest and Nature Conservation Policy Group

The PhD candidate Innocent Babili from Tanzania has obtained funding from the Ford Foundation for his research proposal “The potential for enhancing rural poor livelihoods and forest management through multistakeholder processes: a case of selected forest management programmes in Tanzania”. On March 27, 2006 the admission letter from Wageningen University to the Ford Foundation has been signed. The study will start in September 2006.
