Unit: Forest Ecology and Forest Management Group
At the Forest Ecology and Forest Mangement Group the following MSc thesis project is vacant: Incense forests on Socotra. 
We look for two students interested in studying the distribution and regeneration of Boswellia species on the spectacular Socotra islands off the coast of Jemen. This project is closely connected to a large research programme on dry forests in the horn of Africa (FRAME). Fieldwork may start in September-October 2006. More information
