On 12th April 2006 the first book with PROFETAS results will be presented to the Minister of Agriculture, Mr. H. Veerman, in The Hague. PROFETAS is the acronym of PROtein Foods, Environment, Technology And Science. It is a multidisciplinary Dutch research programme studying the options for more sustainable food production and consumption. The results of PROFETAS have been published in the book Sustainable Protein Production and Consumption: Pigs or Peas?
