A summary of lessons and experiences from the Dutch co-innovation programme ‘Professionalizing organic sales chains’, which ran from 2001 through 2005. Overall the co-innovation programme is creating surplus value all round: for the sector because sales increase, for businesses because they learn how to stimulate innovations, and for the research institutions because their knowledge becomes valorised as it is put into practice.
