 A policy brief is released discussing the main implications of energy crops production for the environment and EU rural development and in the context of international development. The brief outlines research needs and provides policy recommendations to support the development of a framework that allows sustainable bioenergy production. The brief is part of an EU-funded project, coordinated by Ecologic in Germany, working with partners in four countries including LEI.
