You will find Wageningen University an enticing and challenging environment to start your scientific career in. Every year, 250 PhD students commence their 4-year PhD programme coordinated and facilitated by one of the six graduate schools.
They come to Wageningen University because of its outstanding scientific reputation and the internationally oriented research agenda. It is here that they conduct interdisciplinary research as well as broaden their disciplinary research activities.
The PhD programme has a strong international character with approximately 60% of our PhD candidates coming from universities outside the Netherlands. All classes for PhD candidates are held in English, all university teachers speak English, therefore no barriers for fruitful interaction at Wageningen University.
