FSPMA2016 International Conference
CSA has been co-organizer of the 2016 International Conference on Functional-Structural Plant Growth Modeling, Simulation, Visualization and Applications (FSPMA2016), which was held from 7 to 11 November 2016 in Qingdao, China.
The conference focused on cutting edge plant-science research in which functional-structural plant models are utilized to address questions related to plant growth, development, competition, and evolution, as well as computer-science research focused on capturing the complexity of mechanisms driving processes at the cell, organ, plant, field and community levels.
CSA was represented by Martin Sikma, Gu Shenghao, Ningyi Zhang, Jorad de Vries, Franca Bongers, and general co-chair Jochem Evers.
