Presentations Symposium Publish for Impact

On Tuesday, 7 February , the Library, along with Wageningen Graduate Schools, organised 'Publish for Impact', a symposium on the publication process and strategy. The afternoon was held in the Forum building’s large lecture hall. A group of over 160 attended. Louise Fresco opened with an inspiring introductury talk.

The president of the Board, Louise Fresco, opened the afternoon with an inspiring and personal elaboration on scientific writing and publishing and the impact this can have on society. Canan Ziylan and Jan Willem van Groenigen had interesting lectures about their own publishing history and the issues they encountered. Ellen Fest gave tips and tricks from the Library's perspective. The lecture of Anna Treadway focused on the publisher's perspective. The symposium was enthousiastically chaired by Bas Zwaan, director of Graduate School PE&RC.
