Be an African farmer in the game 'African Highland Farmer'
In the game 'African Highland Farmer' you are a smallholder farmer in the East African Highlands who has to manage 1 ha of land for him and his familiy, in such a way that it is sustainable, taking into account various aspects, such as economic viability, production, security and protection.
The game is used to make policy makers aware of the problems of smallholder farmers in the East African Highlands.
'African Hihland Farmer' is developed by Wageningen University and WeirdBeard. Data and game design by Machteld Schoolenberg, graphic design by Hannah Kay Piche. The research was financed by NWO - WOTRO Science for Global Development.
