Wieke Pot obtained her MSc. in Public Administration at Leiden University (2009, cum laude). After finishing her studies, she worked as a researcher at Wageningen UR and as a management consultant and manager, amongst others via Boer & Croon. With her professional work experience at both public and private organizations, she gained valuable skills in the fields of people management, change management and consulting. End of 2015, she returned to Wageningen UR as a PhD student. Her PhD project will focus on the New Delta, aiming to understand and contribute to forward-looking decisions about water infrastructure.
Her research topics of interests include strategic and long term decision making; water management; the interaction between technology, future challenges, actors and institutions; multi stakeholder contexts, change management, and research design. In her work, Wieke likes to combine the fields of expertise mentioned with her consulting and (change) management skills.
