What about the Anthropocene? Natural & Social Sciences in the Anthropocene

What does the concept Anthropocene mean for the sciences? Do scientists need the concept to do their research? If it doesn’t change the facts why bother at all? In a situation of analytical uncertainty, there is only need for more science to deliver the facts. Simon Bush (environmental sociology) and Thom Kuyper (soil science) perform a debate about how much the natural and social science need each other in this and what that means for the Anthropocene generation of scientists, especially in Wageningen.
