Wageningen UR replaces Metis with Pure

At the end of 2014 the Executive Board of Wageningen UR signed a contract to purchase Pure. This research information system (RIS) is going to replace Metis. Metis is used to register Wageningen UR's research output.

Making Wageningen UR’s research output visible together

In January, the Library will begin implementing Pure. The implemention will be finished after the summer break of 2015. While the tool to register our research output will change, the underlying principles remain the same. Registering all of the research output in the RIS provides the best view  of Wageningen UR’s contribution to society. It also allows the scientific community to build upon our work. Moreover, the complete data for (peer) review can be made available. The network of 200 appreciated staff members of Wageningen UR is the solid foundation for actually feeding Wageningen UR’s research output to the RIS.
