I am a researcher in the Climate Action team at the Alliance of Biodiversity and CIAT and PhD candidate at WUR/PPS. My research project investigates dynamics of adaptation to climate change in complex  systems (from farm up to the agri-food system). I’m interested in applying quantitative and qualitative methods to explore how climate adaptation outcomes emerge across the agri-food system, under which conditions, and who benefits from them. I have worked in ag research for development for a decade. My research activities have focused mainly on enabling environments for climate-smart agriculture across Latin America and Africa, on the effects of farm management on socio-economic and agri-environmental indicators, and user-centered tools to support decisions for agriculture and climate. I take a great interest in useful and usable science that helps to unlock positive impact on the society and the environment. For this, I’m actively looking for collaborations with transdisciplinary teams and multi-stakeholder groups (scientists, policymakers, private section, and communities) to address disconnects between science, policy, action, and results on the ground.
