Programme

Apart from the contributions to the different panel sessions (see programme below), CSSI 2022 features contributions of keynote speakers Dr. Laura Pereira, Prof. Johanna Mair and Prof. Ioan Fazey in an interactive interview format, and a keynote lecture by the winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award. The conference will also hand out the Best Paper Award and invite reflection on the future of CSSI.

To underscore the importance of exchange between research and practice, the conference will hold professionally moderated Dialogues between researchers and practitioners/stakeholders on a focused topic, broadcasted live from Wageningen Dialogue Center Omnia. The topics for these Dialogues are: 

• Due Diligence partnerships for global commodities
• The role of partnerships in addressing SDG trade-offs and synergies in East-Africa.
• Building resilience in Socio-Ecological Systems through connective strategies: What are the opportunities for citizen science, social media platforms, and environmental monitoring?

Putting together the programme for an online conference with broad international participation is quite a challenge because of the different time zones. Accommodating everyone's working hours is impossible, and even accommodating everyone's daytime hours is very challenging. We did our very best to balance the different preferences in the programme below.

During each of the five time slots for panel sessions, four to five panel sessions will take place in parallel tracks. Please note that some of the panels span over two or three time slots.
