Do you want to learn Spanish for holiday or for study or business purposes? This course will give you a solid foundation in the Spanish language in a short amount of time.
The focus of the course is on practical skills, but ample attention is also given to Spanish culture. The Spanish I course can be followed-up by Spanish II.
Classes take place on the Wageningen University & Research Campus, in the Forum building.
Spanish I is for anyone who has little to no knowledge of the Spanish language and wants to acquire a solid foundation in Spanish (with a focus on social skills) in a short amount of time.
Level of the course
Spanish I: A1 (CEFR)
Attention is given to grammar and vocabulary in the Spanish I course, but the main goal is to learn to communicate in Spanish. You will also improve your reading and writing skills, mainly by doing exercises at home. Furthermore, you will familiarise yourself with Spanish culture.
These courses each run for 13 classes. There will be 1 weekly class of 1 hour and 45 minutes. In addition to the classes, you will be spending 2 to 3 hours on homework each week.
