Will you soon be going to Spain or another Spanish-speaking country for a holiday, study or work? Did you take Spanish at school but has it slipped since then? Spanish II will quickly help you get back on track. The course focuses on practical skills, but time is also spent on Spanish culture.
Classes take place on the Wageningen University & Research Campus, in the Forum building.
Spanish I is for anyone who has little to no knowledge of the Spanish language and wants to acquire a solid foundation in Spanish (with a focus on social skills) in a short amount of time.
Level of the course
Spanish I: A1 (CEFR)
Attention is given to grammar and vocabulary in the Spanish I course, but the main goal is to learn to communicate in Spanish. You will also improve your reading and writing skills, mainly by doing exercises at home. Furthermore, you will familiarise yourself with Spanish culture.
The course meets once a week for 13 weeks. Each class is hour and 45 minutes. You should expect to spend 2 to 3 hours on homework each week.
