The seminar “The Right to Food and the Political Economy of Hunger”, is being organized by the Centre for Sustainable Development and Food Security of Wageningen UR.  This centre is an initiative of Wageningen University professor Rudy Rabbinge.

Keynote: Olivier de Schutter, the Special Rapporteur of the United Nations on "the Right to Food"
Dr. ir. Otto Hospes of the Law and Governance Group of Wageningen University will reflect on the keynote presentation. He is co-editor of the book ‘Fed Up with the Right to Food’

The seminar takes place on 15 February 2010 in the Forum Building, Droevendaalsesteeg 2, 6708 PB, Wageningen.
