Freelance English teachers wanted
We are looking for native and near-native English trainers for our English courses (day and/or evening courses).
Our courses take place on the Radboud University and Wageningen University & Research campuses (our two locations) as well as in-company at companies and organisations all over the country. So even if you do not live in the Nijmegen/Wageningen region, you are most welcome to apply.
Our clients are students, staff members, and PhD candidates from the universities as well as clients from for-profit and non-profit organisations.
Job requirements
Do you have a university degree in a field that is relevant for the position, preferably with a teaching degree, or are you a native or near-native speaker with an equivalent degree including a didactic component from a country other than the Netherlands?
Do you have extensive experience teaching at different levels, different groups of clients and a variety of organisations?
Are you willing to work evenings?
Are you willing to travel in case the teaching must be done in-company?
Are you a flexible, pro-active, creative person with broad interests and strong communication skills?
If your answers to all these questions is "yes", you might just be the new team member we are looking for.
We are looking for experienced teachers with a wide range of skills, who are able to teach groups as well as individuals and who are comfortable with a variety of settings and domains. Having previous experience with the CEFR and with intake interviews is a plus. The same goes for having experience teaching Classroom English/CLIL to teachers at bilingual schools, Cambridge courses (BEC, FCE, CAE, CPE, IELTS) and Academic English courses.
Organisation
Radboud in'to Languages is a leading language and communication centre in the Netherlands. We provide a large variety of language and communication courses and services to clients within and outside of the university. We also offer language tests, translation and editing, communication courses, personal coaching, and advice. We are affiliated to Radboud University’s Faculty of Arts.
Wageningen in'to Languages is the centre of expertise for language and communication at Wageningen University & Research. Wageningen in'to Languages provides language courses for students and staff members of Wageningen University & Research as well as external clients.
Since 2011, Wageningen in'to Languages has been working closely with Radboud in'to Languages. This collaboration allows us to offer our clients an improved and wider selection of language courses, translation services and language tests. It strengthens the academic and international profiles of both Radboud in'to Languages and Wageningen in'to Languages and allows us to invest in quality improvement and innovation.
