KNAW-Beijerinck Premium 2020 goes to Jelke Fros original thinker in virology

This year the KNAW Beijerinck Premium goes to Jelke Fros (1985). Fros receives the Beijerinck Premium for his original virological research. The jury particularly praises the current line of research he is working on at the Laboratory of Virology in Wageningen. A study in which he connects research data on mammalian, insect and plant viruses.
