Jennie
Hi, I’m Jennie and I started the MSc Aquaculture & Marine Resource Management in 2018. I did my BSc Biology here at Wageningen University with a specialisation in Ecology & Biodiversity. During my minor in Norway I took an interest in the marine world and doing my master’s abroad. While I was traveling the world for over a year, I realised I didn’t want to be a researcher. I did want to work with ecological systems and making the world more sustainable. As Wageningen University is a frontier in sustainability and offers a more applied track next to their scientific track, I decided to return to Wageningen. I’m following the aquaculture specialisation which has a more applied approach, but keeps my brain working hard. I did a lot of research into what kind of future I wanted to have and as student coach I hope I can help with yours.
