Dr. Wieke Pot has obtained a Ph.D. and MSc. degree (cum laude) in Public Administration. She currently works as assistant professor on the governance of social-ecological-technical systems for improving resilience as part of the 4TU Resilience Engineering programme (https://www.4tu.nl/resilience/). Her PhD thesis focused on forward-looking decision making about water infrastructure and is entitled: Deciding for tomorrow today. Before her PhD research, she has been working as a management consultant and manager at a diversity of public and private sector organizations, amongst others via management consulting firm Boer & Croon. With her professional work experience she gained valuable skills in the fields of people management, change management and consulting.
Her research topics of interests include strategic and long term decision making, water management, the interaction between technology, future challenges, actors and institutions, multi-stakeholder contexts, change management, and multi-method research. In her work, Wieke likes to combine the fields of expertise mentioned with her consulting and (change) management skills.
