Perry den Brok is professor in Education and Learning Sciences at WUR and chair of the group with the same name (ELS). His research interests lie in the field of educational innovation in Higher Education, rich and innovative learning environments, teacher learning and profesional development. He also conducted quite some studies on teachers in secondary education, for example on topics such as classroom management. Recently, teaching with ICT has become a topic of interest.
From 2018 till medio 2023 Perry was also director of the 4TU Centre for Engineering Education, a centre that initiates, supports and studies course and curricular innovations at the four universities of technology in the Netherlands and disseminates insights to practitioners and policy makers and support staff at higher education institutes. Perry helped co-found this centre and was local leader for TU Eindhoven between 2014 and 2017.
Perry is currently member of the WUR Educational Innovation Board, and is involved as project member or board member in educational innovations and educational research in the 4TU and EWUU alliances.
