The workshop took place at the University of Bologna from 23 to 25 May 2018. Lisa was awarded a grant to cover registration fee and a travel grant. She was able to present her work entitled ‘Genetic variation causes differential viral susceptibilities in the model organism Caenorhabditis elegans’ both orally and on a poster.

The workshop aims at presenting the state-of-the-art of computational methods for genome interpretation and collects expert scientists from both experimental biomedicine and computational biology. The mixing of competences is fundamental for generating significant advancements in the field.
