Adedotun Owolabi graduated with a degree in Food Science and Technology from The Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State Nigeria and holds a Masters degree in Human Nutrition from the Department of Public Health (Human Nutrition option), College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria
His research interest lies between the intersections of Child Health and Nutrition, Nutrition education concerning prevailing health problems and the methods of preventing and controlling them, promotion of food and nutrition Security, maternal and child care, including family planning, prevention, and control of locally endemic and epidemic diseases.
Adedotun Owolabi was selected by the United Nations Office at Geneva, Switzerland, to participate at the 2015 edition of Graduate study programme and was involved in the final drafting of the final proposal of World Alliance of Cities against Poverty (WACAP) which was used at the steering committee meeting in Macau, China. He is a recipient of an Excellence Award by Nigerian Top Executives in the Medicine and pharmaceuticals Industry in the 2015 publication and Rating based on his international network strength.
He currently works with FrieslandCampina as a Nutritionist and an external Ph.D. student at Wageningen University & Research, The Netherlands.
