Researcher Business Informatics Agri-food

In the Agricultural and Food sector I build on my experience from the IT industry and higher education in my role as a researcher in data driven and digital innovation projects (Blockchain in Organic Food, User Acceptance, Digital Twin, 5G in Agri-Food, Business Support in projects AgROBOfood & IOF2020).

My research focus is on the role of ICT and specifically Blockchain in agri-food to understand the impact on food traceability in the organic food industry. Lecturing at The Hague and Utrecht Universities of Applied Sciences for a total of 10 years, I have been fortunate to be able to develop myself as an all-round IT expert with a focus on the improvement of business processes and the impact of technology on the user, whether it is a manager, an employee, a student, a teacher or a farmer. Improving and managing business processes (Order2Cash, Salesforce.com) were my main responsibilities while working in the software industry (Streamserve, OpenText). My drivers are international environments, innovative projects and connecting with people. I speak Dutch, English and French. My personal interests are playing music, running, yoga and permaculture gardening.
