Public transport extended hours

On Monday the 24th of February 2014 the province of Gelderland has decided that the train stations Ede-Wageningen, Arnhem and Nijmegen will get connected to the night network from 2015 onwards! The train will drive on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from Utrecht towards Nijmegen and from there back again. In Utrecht there will be the possibility to take the other night trains to Amsterdam, Schiphol, Den Haag, Amersfoort and Deventer. That this decision will make sure that there will start-up a discussion on what to do with the busses at those times. Because Wageningen students are travelling mostly per bus to the train station, it would be preferable if the busses also will drive at these hours back to Wageningen.

Moreover the province had taken the decision that the amount of sprinters between Ede-Wageningen and Arnhem will be doubled.
