Every day at WUR, we share and discuss our exciting, important and relevant stories with the world. However, there are still many beautiful stories which are not told about our organisation. On the occasion of WUR’s 100 centennial, we are organising a brainstorm session about identifying the actions needed to find, share and initiate interaction about all our exiting and relevant WUR stories. In a second more public meeting, the ideas will be put into direct action.
For many different reasons researchers don’t find the time, opportunity or means to reach out to a wider audience.
To find and tell these stories we need researchers, management and communication professionals working closely together. But, have we ever sat together with the different groups to discuss what each group needs to be stimulated, motivated and effective to get our stories to the world and engage in a societal dialogue? For example:
- What do researchers need to be motivated to communicate about the work?
- What does management need to stimulate their employees in sharing their research and knowledge?
- What does the communication professional need to find the exiting and relevant stories in our organization?
More information on the event, including dates and venues will soon be published.
