Seed industry is crucial for achieving the sustainable development goals by contributing to reduce poverty, fight hunger, stimulate good health and well-being and support climate actions. The Dutch seed sector is well known for its innovation and outstanding performance, what are the drivers for this achievement? How does the golden triangle model work in the seed industry in the Netherlands? The Chinese seed sector is also well known for its tremendous volume and fast development, what are the challenges and opportunities for further collaboration? Wageningen University & Research and Huazhong Agricultural University jointly organize this workshop, let’s find the answer together with the industrial and academic experts from both China and the Netherlands.

For whom is this workshop?

This workshop is open for Wageningen University & Research (WUR) students/staff and Huazhong Agricultural University (HZAU) students and WUR alumni China chapter members.

The online workshop will be held 19 May.

For people located in the Netherlands the timeframe is 8:00 - 12:30 AM Asterdam Time. For people located in China the timeframe is 2:00 -6:30 PM Beijing Time.
