The Anne van den Ban Fund allows promising students from developing countries to follow a MSc education at Wageningen University.
During the selection procedure, attention is also given to other possible means of study financing. These include other scholarship programmes, personalised donations, support from family and own earnings. As a result of this approach, relatively many students are able to follow or complete their education.
The selection procedure for the Anne van den Ban Fund has changed. Candidates will now be selected in close collaboration with the university. The fund will no longer look at individual requests. That is why interested parties have to wait until an Anne van den Ban scholarship is offered. This happens in the spring around May.
Information for current WUR students
Applications by students for the academic year 2019-2020 will only be taken in consideration from July 2019. Applications are only open to students who fit the general criteria, have achieved excellent results and who run into financial trouble due to reasons outside their control and through no fault of their own. Please note that coming to Wageningen for a 2 year master study on a one year scholarship or budget doesn’t fit these criteria.
