Planning the master's programme Animal Sciences
The master's programme Animal Sciences is a tailor-made programme that focuses on students’ own interests and preferences. Students choose at least one specialisation, and within that specialisation a specific study track (in which they take depth subjects) and complete a master thesis in one of the specialisation's chair groups. Students also have the option to complete an internship at a company or institution or do minor thesis in a second specialisation or in a professional track. Then, you complete subjects and a minor thesis outside Animal Sciences to develop skills for a particular career after graduation. There are possibilities for completing an international master's programme, in which students graduate from two universities at once (double-degree programmes). In short, the master's programme Animal Sciences offers a great deal of freedom, where students and student advisors work together to build a customised master's programme.
