The course includes a variety of presentations spread over two consecutive
days. The topics are introduced by a number of experts. There will be sufficient

  • Incubation temperature during the setter and hatcher phase and consequences for later life
  • Hatchery hygiene
  • Alternative hatching systems and early nutrition
  • Maximising hatchery performance – automation for the modern hatchery
  • (In ovo) vaccination in the hatchery
  • Analysing break out data
  • Big data in the hatchery
