During your time abroad it might be possible that your stay will be longer than you originally mentioned on you grant agreement. This might be because you started earlier, due to introduction days or a language course. Or because you prolonged your earlier intended period abroad. In these cases you might want to apply for an extended period for your Erasmus+ grant.
If your stay exceeds more than 5 days in duration compared to the original duration mentioned on your signed grant agreement, you need to file for an extension period. Please inform us at least the end of your original end date and follow the procedure below.
- Contact firstname.lastname@example.org at least one month before the end of your original end date.
- Inform us about your new exchange period (with the new start and/or end date) and ask if you can apply for extension.
- We will confirm if you can apply for extension or not.
- You need to hand in a Changed Learning Agreement with the new dates, which is again signed by all 3 parties. This Changed Learning Agreement can be found on your original Learning Agreement on page 4 and 5 (section to be completed DURING THE MOBILITY).
