Before starting the Management, Innovation and Life Sciences Master programme in Wageningen University, I studied Agri-system management, international horticulture and marketing. I think this is a good continuation both for my studies and my personal development.
When I was choosing the MSc specialization I searched for information on the Internet and I thought that this profile would fit me most. Now I am satisfied (really) (happy) with my decision as I truly like the combination of beta and gamma approaches. I find satisfactory also the facilities at Leeuwenborch and the Forum. The teachers have high requirements, but it is good as they are real experts and researchers and they know what exactly they teach. In the future I want to stay in the Netherlands or move to another Northern European country. I am interested in working in the marketing sphere and also team work in innovation projects connected to plants and vegetables.
What I can say about living in Wageningen is that it is a nice environment to meet new people and to exchange cultural backgrounds. Besides, you can do sports, go to dancing lessons like I do, get to know a lot of international students, have a social life….maybe the only part that I do not really like is that it is so quiet during the weekends and especially on Sunday everything is closed. A disadvantage also is the fact that the study association for MME students Mercurius cannot actually reach all international students and mainly the Asian ones in their activities. This is something that really could be improved in the future.
