I was selecting between three different universities before coming here and Wageningen tipped the balance as I have friends who told me about it and gave me a lot of useful information. Besides, I like the fact that here I have the chance to continue my education with a linkage to my scientific background.
I am looking forward to the specialized knowledge.
I used to study agricultural engineering during my Bachelor’s degree and the Management, Innovation and Life Sciences profile is a logical continuation.
My aim is to work as an entrepreneur in the agro-industry and business in Ecuador, maybe also in manufacturing. To achieve all this, Wageningen University will help me with its amazing facilities and the availability of very modern technology.
I find one thing very different from what I was used to - the orientation of the educational process to self studying, meaning that you spend a lot of the time preparing on your own - I like it, but it is hard to get used to it very fast. On the other hand, I feel a little bit of anxiety because this first period has been full of introduction courses; I am looking forward to the specialized knowledge.
Apart from that, it is very difficult to adapt to the different system here with all its rules, regulations and obstacles. Yet, what is quite positive is the international environment, which is a rich source for human growth and development in each and every aspect of that word.
