The course aims to provide the students the knowledge on effective and efficient data management practices, working with data models and databases.

Information systems for managers and engineers

The interaction between technology and livestock is the main focus of the course.

Software Engineering

In this course, the process of developing a computer program from an initial idea, to a tested and maintainable software system is discussed.

Big Data

This course will cover both theoretical and practical aspects for understanding, developing and using Big Data systems, focusing on applications and needs in the Life Sciences.
