Arjaan Pellis and Michael Marchman win education award
The Cultural Geography Group was well represented in the education excellence award ceremony on Thursday the 6th of April 2017. From 31 courses that received the highest ratings by students in last academic year, two tourism courses received an education bonus. These are Introduction to Leisure, Tourism and Environment taught by Arjaan Pellis (GEO-10806) of the Cultural Geography Group and Tourism: Principles & Practice (XTO-11806) taught by Michael Marchman (currently working for the labour union at the University of Oregon) and Jeroen Nawijn (NHTV Breda).
