How to handle copyrighted materials in Blackboard (workshop)

Teachers may use copyrighted material in readers and on Blackboard. However, university policy requires teachers to provide hyperlinks to documents instead of using the full text when possible. A lunch workshop on using copyrighted material will be held on 6 February in Forum and on 22 February in Orion.

The Association of Universities in the Netherlands (VSNU) and publishers have recently renewed their agreement on using copyrighted material for educational purposes. This agreement is known as the 'readerregeling'.

If you want to make sure the content of your Blackboard course or printed reader complies with the agreement or if you are interested in the agreement’s rules and regulations, come and join our workshop 'How to handle copyright-protected materials in your BlackBoard course'.

The next workshops will be held on 6 February 2018 from 12.30 till 13.15 in Forum room C0106 and on 22 February 2018 from 12.30 till 13.15 in Orion room C4014.
