Successful seminar on Research Data Management Policy

Published on
December 6, 2016

A hundred policymakers, librarians and information specialists from Dutch universities and research institutions made plans for research data management policies and services.

There were three sessions: the current state of RDM policy; how RDM policy making should respond to the Amsterdam Call for Action on Open Science and incentives; and what researchers need. Jacquelijn Ringersma summarizes the seminar in her blogpost '10 Tweets on The Making of… Research Data Management Policy'.

The seminar was organised by the UKB Working Group Research Data, the National Coordination Point Research Data Management, and WUR Library. Seminar attendees are kindly requested to fill in an online questionnaire about the seminar.

If you have questions on how the Data Management Support unit can help you and how you may benefit from RDM, please contact us.

The presentations and more photos can be downloaded from the SURF website.
