The solution is: add the site 'EBSCOhost' to your 'trusted sites' list in Internet Explorer. How to add a site to 'trusted sites':

a. Go to the EBSCOhost page in Internet Explorer

b. Click the Tools button, and then click Internet options
c. Click the Security tab
d. Now click on Trusted sites and then click on the Sites button
e. The EBSCOhost url is already in this box. Click on 'Add'

f. "Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone" must be switched off

g. When you are finished, click on Close.

This problem only occurs in Internet Explorer. Google Chrome and Firefox operate properly.

With EBSCOhost you can search in the databases: Avery Index, Cab Abstracts, EconLit, ERIC, GreenFile, Medline, Philosopher's Index, PsycINFO, PsycARTICLES and SocINDEX.
