In this presentation of about half an hour we show you how to collect, organise and share references in an online EndNote library.
Besides locally installed versions of EndNote, students and staff from Wageningen University & Research have access to EndNote Online*. This online application for reference management enables limited functionality for the collection and import of references from library catalogues, bibliographical databases and locally installed EndNote libraries. References that are included in EndNote Online can be edited, searched, de-duplicated and placed in groups that may be shared with other users of EndNote Online. By the use of an additional plugin one also can use EndNote Online in combination with MS Word for citing literature and creating reference lists according to a particular journal style. This demonstration gives a short introduction into the use of EndNote Online for online reference management.
All sessions will be held from 12.30 pm to 1.00 pm. It is not necessary to register in advance. Walk in, but please be sure to be on time!
* EndNote Online is also known as EndNote Basic, and was formerly known as EndNote Web.
