Brighten up your assignments with illustrations from Special Collections
Special Collections is a real treasure trove at WUR Library. Many botanic drawings, photos and old maps have been digitised and can be found in the WUR Image Collections. Why not use them to illustrate your work?
Treasure Room
Special Collections is the treasure room of WUR Library. It holds collections of rare and old publications on agriculture, botany, livestock farming and garden architecture.
WUR Image Collections
Many of the images have been digitised and are available online, for example in the WUR Image Collections. Be sure to take a look at the drawings of plants and insects of the renowned Maria Sybilla Merian, the historical maps and the Women, Agricultural Sciences and Wageningen collection.
You can use the images from the WUR Image Collections in your papers and assignments. Most of them can be downloaded for free.
