Good data management should be an intrinsic part of doing research. Research data management specialists can give you advice on safe storage and making data future-proof.
‘Good data management is like world peace’
Shauna Ní Fhlaithearta is a Research Data Management specialist at WUR Library. She gives courses and advice on data management to students and researchers. The goal is to make good data management part of the daily routine of a researcher. Shauna also advises PhD candidates on writing data management plans.
I fear it’s a bit like world peace. Everyone understands the need, everyone wants it, but it will be a long time before we get it.
