Free access to additional resources for WUR students and staff

Many researchers, organisations and publishers are currently making their resources freely available for the coming weeks, months or even for the remainder of the academic year. We've listed the most important resources for Wageningen University & Research students and staff. The website openaccess.nl provides an overview also of what is currently being done to realise that ease of access.

Academic Search Ultimate database

Academic Search Ultimate, a multidisciplinary research database, on the EBSCOhost platform is open until 31 July now. The database offers access to over 9000 journals and magazines in all disciplines.

CABI
Free access to CABI's Coronavirus information collection for three months. You can get a voucher on the webpage to get access to all available articles.

Ebsco eBook platform

Ebsco has increased the access for an unlimited and simultaneous number of users to many eBooks that we subscribe to. This could be helpful when you're using an eBook from this platform for your class or lectures. Ebsco also gives you access to their eBook Academic Colletion until the end of July 2020.

Elsevier, Coronavirus Information Center

Elsevier's Coronavirus Information Center provides continually updated resources from Elsevier's content and experts. The resources span scientific and medical journals and textbooks, educational products, and a variety of other resources.

Elsevier eBook support

All Elsevier's eBooks on ScienceDirect, including 258 textbooks are available for free for the next three months, until approx. 1 August.

JoVE educational videos

JoVE provides free access to all educational video content in the sections Science Education as well as the research-related video content of the Video Journal

WikiData:WikiProject COVID-19
Collate and curate information on COVID-19 in WikiData. WUR staff is involved in this initiative.

Wolters Kluwer database Gideon

Gideon is Global Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology Online Network at the Ovid platform. They offer all coronavirus resources for free for one month. You have to register before you can use the database Gideon.

Be sure be logged in to WUR Library or use the Library Access browser extension to get access to the WUR Library databases, journals and eBooks.
