Borrowing

The Pick up & Go Desk in Forum Library is open from Monday to Friday from 10:00 am till 12:00 noon. Here, WUR students and staff* can pick up and return books. Please wait for a confirmation by e-mail with the subject "Your WUR Library item is ready for pickup".

Books will be checked out till 15 August 2020. Books you may already have borrowed will also be renewed till 15 August, even if a book has already been renewed ten times or when it is reserved by someone else. We will waive any fines for this corona crisis period. This fee waiving doesn't apply to existing fines.

* Folllowing WUR corona guidelines there is no access for visitors from outside of WUR until further notice.

Requesting books

You can order books via the ‘Get it!’ button in WUR Library Search, the LiveChat on the website, or by e-mail (forum.library@wur.nl). We strive to make the requested books available to you within 24 hours. Library books that are not-for-loan and journals cannot be borrowed. You are allowed to copy this material on the printer outside Forum Library.

Returning

You can return books in the green book box at the Pick Up & Go Desk. You may also return books by regular mail, please send to: WUR Library, P.O. Box 9100, 6700HA, Wageningen. Books that have been returned are first held in quarantine for four days before they are made available for the next borrower.

InterLibrary Loan

Many libraries in the Netherlands as well as world-wide have been closed temporarily. To our regret it is no longer possible to borrow books from other libraries. You can still request articles and book chapters from other libraries. Please keep in mind that processing your request may take longer than usual and some items may be unavailable.

Printers and computers

Currently the Forum Library has no printers or (guest) computers. We are open between 10:00 am and 12:00 noon exclusively to give borrowers the possibility to pick up & return books. You are allowed to make copies on the printer outside Forum Library of material that cannot be borrowed.

Online services

The Library's digital collection is of course available and our services are continuing online as much as possible.
